Overview
POLLY Retro Cam (“POLLY,” “we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a creative camera for iPhone and iPad. POLLY is designed to create and organize photos, short videos, written memories, and Mood Boards on your Apple devices.
The short version: we do not sell personal information, serve third-party advertising, run advertising trackers, or use your photos, videos, audio, or notes for advertising or model training.
Photos, videos, notes, and Mood Boards
Captures, written memories, Mood Boards, and app preferences are stored on your device. When supported archive restore is enabled and iCloud is available, encrypted app records may be stored in your private Apple iCloud container so you can restore your own archive.
COCOTOFY LLC cannot browse your private Camera Roll, private iCloud account, photos, videos, notes, or Mood Boards. When you share or export an item, you choose the destination through Apple’s system share controls.
Device permissions
- Camera: used to compose and capture photos and videos.
- Microphone: used only when you record video with sound.
- Photos: used when you choose to save, resave, import, or remove POLLY-created media in Camera Roll.
- iCloud: used for supported private archive restore when available.
You can change permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Some features will not work when their corresponding permission is disabled.
Purchases and subscription status
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider, receives purchase identifiers, an app-user identifier, product identifiers, transaction status, and related purchase history needed to offer, verify, restore, prevent fraud, and manage premium access. Our published App Store privacy label classifies this as purchase history used for app functionality, not linked to your identity, and not used for tracking.
For more information, review RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
POLLY does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app advertising trackers. POLLY does not request Apple’s advertising identifier. We may receive aggregated operational information from Apple and RevenueCat about app distribution and purchases, but we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Retention and deletion
You can delete local POLLY media and Mood Boards inside the app. Camera Roll copies are controlled through Apple Photos. Private iCloud data is controlled through your Apple account and device settings.
Deleting the app may remove local data that has not been exported or restored through iCloud. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records for the periods required to provide purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, keep financial records, and comply with law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about personal data handled by us. Because POLLY keeps creative content on your device or in your private Apple services, we often do not possess the content you may be asking about.
You may manage device permissions in Settings, subscriptions in your Apple Account, and local media in POLLY. To make a privacy request about data we control, use the contact method on our Support page.
Children
POLLY is a general-audience creative camera. We do not knowingly collect children’s photos, videos, notes, or other personal information for advertising or profiling. A parent or guardian should supervise purchases and device permissions where required by local law.
International processing
Apple and RevenueCat may process limited purchase and operational information in countries other than your own, subject to their privacy terms and applicable safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as POLLY evolves or legal requirements change. Material changes will appear here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how the app handles data, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
